Iguazu Falls – Argentine side

This hike to the falls is one of the main attractions of the Argentine side of the Iguaz?? Falls. This is a tour that combines an ecological train ride in the National Park and walks along the falls. he tour begins when we get into the Iguazu National Park, which showcases lush subtropical vegetation, where giant trees, vines and ferns live with multicolored butterflies, colorful birds and other specimens of the rich flora and fuana. All of this exists alongside, of course, the spectacular Iguazu Falls! We start the visit at the Interpretation Centre with a Natural Science Museum to continue the path of “lower ride” where we can see, among others, the Dos Hermanas, Bozzetti, Deuna Escondido jumps and where we can enjoy panoramic views of the San Martin Island. To top off the tour we will ride the jungle train to Puerto Canoas to access a walkway to the famous and iconic “Devil’s Throat,” where the Iguazu River is expressed in full force and beauty. Argentine Side Iguazu Falls tour: Jesuit ruins of San Ignacio and the Wanda Mines

It is also home to two species of Argentine alligators: the black caiman and the overo, as well as 350 bird species of bird! The Ibera marshes are the epicenter of the reserve, which host unique wildlife sightings.
Itaipu Hydroelectric Dam
The visit to the dam takes place on the Brazilian side of the Falls at the Itaipu Reserve. The Reserve is an island in the Parana River between Brazil and Paraguay that in the local Indian language means” singing stone.” The main dam has a length of 1406 meters and a maximum height of 185 meters and flooded an area of 1,350 km. The spill of water from the spout is 30 times the volume of water from Niagara Falls. This constitutes the largest hydroelectric dam in the world.
Bird Park (Brazilian Side of the Falls)
